DTTWSB Week 12 NFL Picks

Thanksgiving football week is upon us!! That means a delicious triple header tomorrow. Thanksgiving also means that we are itching closer to the playoffs. I'm starting to get my picks' record up. Last week I went 12-4 which puts my season total to 97-63. In comparison to the ESPN NFL experts I currently have the third best record. I'll be looking to improve on that with my picks this week. So without further ado, here are my picks.

Packers at Falcons: Falcons

In what should be a great game, I like the Falcons to pull this one out. They are a very tough team at home. This game features two great offenses that are lead by two great young quarterbacks. I expect for there to be a lot of points on the board by the end of this one.

Jaguars at Giants: Giants

The Giants are in desperate need of a win after dropping two straight division games. This one won't be easy because the Jaguars know how to run the ball effectively. Overall, I think New York will get it together and win comfortably in front of the home crowd.

Eagles at Bears: Eagles

This game will show us if the Bears are serious contenders in the NFC, or if they are pretenders that shouldn't be mentioned with the best teams in the conference. Personally I feel as though they are pretenders. That's why I belive the Eagles will win this game. Quarterback Michael Vick will just be too much for the Bears defense. I also don't trust the Bears offense to put up enough points to win.

Buccaneers at Ravens: Ravens

I think this will be the most intriguing game of the week. The upstart Buccaneers have exceeded my expectations by far. They're a great young team on the rise but I think Sunday will belong to the Ravens. Baltimore is tough at home and they should hold serve. This game will not be easy for them though.

***Upset Special***
Chargers at Colts: Chargers

In my upset special, I expect the Chargers to go into Indianapolis and pull off a win. Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has been playing lights out football lately. Now he will get his number one wide receiver in Vincent Jackson back from a suspension. The Colts are tough at home but the Chargers are peaking at the right time.

The rest of the weeks picks:

Patriots at Lions: Patriots
Saints at Cowboys: Saints
Bengals at Jets: Jets
Steelers at Bills: Steelers
Panthers at Browns: Browns
Vikings at Redskins: Redskins
Titans at Texans: Texans
Dolphins at Raiders: Raiders
Chiefs at Seahawks: Seahawks
Rams at Broncos: Broncos
49ers at Cardinals: 49ers
